MTN HR Interactive

Having won three awards including the Overall Best HR Organisation in the HR Focus Awards 2015, MTN Ghana was selected by HR Focus, to host the first HR Interactive session.

This event was held at their Ridge head office on 31st May, 2016, saw the gathering of a number of HR practitioners and decision makers from various organisations.
The programme included a facility tour of MTN Ghana, highlighting their unique HR practices and processes, while giving organisations and individuals the chance to learn and receive insights that would contribute to making their HR career and departments a success.

HR Mix & Mingle

HR Mix & Mingle

This event was organised exclusively for HR Professionals to unwind, relax and discuss issues concerning HR and the wellness of the human resource of the country. It was organised under the theme, “HR and Wellness – My Contribution”.

This event was organised under the theme “HR and Wellness – My Contribution”.
It gathered about 150 HR professionals and key players within the wellness industry in Ghana. After a very insightful discussion, the business executives were  involved in relaxing exercises like massages, and a workout session.
The event was held in partnership with: C&J Mediare Hospital, Allure, Herbalife, Nourish Lab, Delcielo, Decathlon and Aviation Social Centre.

CEO Meets HR

CEO meets HR; A business love story

This HR interactive event was dubbed: “CEO&HR: A Business Love Story.” It brought together CEOs and HR professionals to engage in discussions on the theme: Developing the perfect synergy between CEO and HR.

CEO Meets HR: A Business Love Story took place on the 14th of March, 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra. At the event, the keynote speakers’ speeches empowered CEOs to speak the language of HR by mastering the three pillars of strategic HR: Talent, Technology and Analytics to inform key business decision-making.
The first speaker was the CEO of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Dr. Kwasi Agyeman-Busia. He spoke on the general roles of the CEO and mentioned some instances they could foster work ethics through cordial relationships with their HR departments.
The HR Executive of MTN Ghana, and HR Practitioner of the Year 2017, Mrs. Amma Benneh-Amponsah was the second speaker. She emphasized the fact that HR can be empowered to contribute significantly to business growth through talent acquisition and development, and data analysis.
As part of the programme, there was an open forum session which brought to the fore further insights about the unique benefits organisations can garner from a collaborative CEO and HR relationships. The programme ended with the CEO of L’AINE Services, Dr. Mrs. Ellen M. Hagan encouraging all to practicalise all that have been shared in their workplaces.
